Description
Traditional liquor from Portugal, in particular from the Beira region. Its production started in the 19th century, based on several plants (mint, cinnamon, rosemary, lavender and cardamom) and aromatic seeds, submitted to a double distillation process. It is usually consumed as a simple digestive or with ice, in addition to being used in the preparation of cocktails.
