Traditional liquor from Portugal, in particular from the Beira region. Its production started in the 19th century, based on several plants (mint, cinnamon, rosemary, lavender and cardamom) and aromatic seeds, submitted to a double distillation process. It is usually consumed as a simple digestive or with ice, in addition to being used in the preparation of cocktails.
Since 2008, it is the most consumed spirit drink in Portugal.Flavor: sweet and unusual flavor, which merges with its surrounding aroma, obtained from a double distillation of plants and aromatic seeds.
